I started practicing yoga in 2009 to address lower back pain. After a few years of struggling on the mat, some great teachers showed me what the practice was really about and yoga became a vehicle for me to connect with my body in a more positive way. Yoga lessened a whole battery of health issues for me and I wanted to share the joy and pain-relief with others. I pursued RYT 200 hour certification at South Boston Yoga with David Vendetti and Ame Wren in 2013. I have studied Afro Flow Yoga with Leslie Salmon Jones and continue to study with other teachers around New England.

My teaching focuses on freedom through movement, personal empowerment, and correct alignment for safe and sustainable practice. I care deeply about making yoga accessible to all and have taught many free and donation-based classes. I have taught at Starr Life Studios, JP Centre Yoga, Great Falls Yoga, and Shelburne Falls Yoga.

Testimonials:

"Noelle brings her thoughtful, intuitive and positive nature to everything she does. As a yoga instructor I found her both technical and playful--meaning you get your down dog right…and maybe laugh a little in the process. Check her out!" - Stacy T.

"Noelle led yoga in a community garden in J.P. my first summer in Boston, and it was fantastic! In addition to having a soothing voice, giving great assists, and tailoring the class to the needs and desires of the handful of participants, she's also just a total sweetie." - Ari R.

"I loved yoga classes with Noelle because they are fun without being too silly, engaging without being overly intense, and she has a sixth sense for where people were at. She is very caring and perceptive, and I feel seen and engaged in her yoga classes. She also has a strength and ease in leading the class, and I leave feeling restored and empowered." - Jack S.
